Corallo Restaurant is one of the five recommended restaurants from the good food guide of cyprus. It is open since 1981 and is running by the Charalambous Family.

Panicos Charalambous is probably one of the best chefs in the world. Starting his carrier since 1960 in ideal restaurant Nicosia, at 1963 he were at Hotel and Caterin School to 1965. As one of the best cooks special from his fantastic creations he wa employ as a "Chef de Party" at Korner Restaurant in tern. Airport Nicosia until 1974. After the troubles in Cyprus from Turkish occupy, and the unemployment he went in Muscat with J&P Company as a Chef of the V.I.P. Restaurant.

At 1976 he decided to repatriate as he wanted to made his dreams come true so he made his own restaurant in his secret romantic place called "Ma" (Coral Bay).

On July 1976 he rented a place and opened a beach restaurant in Coral Bay with his brother George, called P&G Restaurant Coral Bay. Note that 1976 there was only three restaurants in whole Paphos area.
The restaurant was very successful and in five years time he had his regular customers.

After some problems they had with the owner of the place, at 1980 Panicos bought a piece of land in the way to the Coral Bay Beach and at 1981 he build and open his own rstaurant "Corallo", which was the only building in this area at that time.

Corallo Restaurant has been recommended for good food and service, six times in several books and magazines.

Now the restaurant is running by the son of Panicos and is very famous for his heritage, tradition and experience he took from his father.
